The Mat

Weighted, platinum-cured silicone. Platinum-cured is the highest grade of silicone there is: it’s cured with a platinum catalyst instead of peroxide, so there is no chemical residue and no odor. Independently tested by SGS, it passed both the US FDA food-contact standard and Germany’s LFGB standard — the strictest food-contact standard in the world. A dedicated prep surface instead of a paper towel.
